In Home Euthanasia of Dogs and Cats

SERVING THE GREATER CINCINNATI, NORTHERN KENTUCKY, AND SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA AREAS

Our pets have been with us for many years, through good times and bad, and they have given us unconditional love. Pet euthanasia at home gives your pet a loving and respectful end of life.

When your pet is suffering, whether it is cancer, kidney failure, arthritis, or just very old, you can see in their eyes. Pet euthanasia at home in the Greater Cincinnati area provides loving care in the comfort and peaceful surroundings that your pet knows. There is no stressful trip to the vet clinic, with its loud noises and smells. There is no shivering and nervousness, no cold steel table. With pet euthanasia at home, your pet is surrounded by family and other pets, in the comfort of their own home. With pet euthanasia at home, you can choose when and where, whether it be in the living room of your house, outside in the back yard, or at your pet’s favorite place such as a park or lake setting. Whatever you choose, you know that you are giving your pet a loving and respectful end of life.

Natural Death vs Euthanasia

Is dying “naturally” a better option than in-home pet euthanasia? As your pet’s guardian, you should consider that pet euthanasia at home is a kind way to end your pet’s suffering when their quality of life has diminished.

Signs of Pain

Animals, by nature, try to hide signs of pain and suffering. Dogs and cats will try to hide their suffering from their pet family. An obvious sign is not eating or drinking, but there may be other uncommon signs you need to watch for.

TESTIMONIALS

“Dr. Mary Jane, I just wanted to say thank you for making time to come to our home and helping us let our little guy Jake go… It was especially comforting to let him go while he lay in his own bed. The service you provide and your truly fine and compassionate approach meant so much.”

—LELA GARDNER

“We called Dr. Cionni in the morning and she came to our house that same afternoon. She handled the whole process with tenderness and sensitivity. While it was extremely difficult to lose our little dog of almost 15 years, we couldn’t imagine doing it any differently. Thank you to Dr. Cionni and the whole organization for providing such a wonderful service.”

—KIRK BRISTOL

“Dr. Cionni, I wanted to take a minute to thank you for the gentle care you gave my sweet Homer. I miss him terribly but know he is free from pain. Thank you for the kindness you showed us. You are truly a gift from God to take care of our precious pets (babies).”
